Node.js Developer

As a Backend Developer, you will collaborate with the frontend team to address performance and security issues, refactor legacy code, and implement best coding practices. You will establish processes to ensure reliability and quick deliveries, acting as an evangelist and advocate for the backend within the company. Your responsibilities will include resolving and minimizing technical debt, coordinating with clients, and managing backend sprints. Additionally, you will implement agile practices and enhance team visibility through clear reporting in JIRA/Asana. Key Responsibilities: - Work closely with the frontend team to resolve performance and security issues - Refactor legacy code and implement code best practices - Establish processes for reliability and quick deliveries - Act as a backend advocate and evangelist within the company - Coordinate with clients and manage backend sprints - Implement agile practices and improve team visibility through clean reporting in JIRA/Asana - Be stack agnostic, with appreciation for Nodejs + MongoDB/Elastic/Redis + Python - Design systems at scale efficiently while considering cost - Be open to learning new frameworks like Hapi.JS, Typescript, and Nest.JS - Possess strong database concepts and hands-on knowledge of MongoDB and REDIS - Experience with microservices, JWT, IAM systems, Postman, and Swagger is a plus - Knowledge of TDD, unit testing, and test code coverage concepts is advantageous - Strong operating system knowledge, including thread management, is a plus - Working experience with RabbitMQ and Kafka is beneficial - Must have strong knowledge of JS internals Qualifications Required: - Strong knowledge of JS internals - Hands-on experience with MongoDB and REDIS - Experience with microservices, JWT, IAM systems, Postman, Swagger - Knowledge of TDD, unit testing, and test code coverage concepts - Experience with RabbitMQ and Kafka - Strong operating system knowledge, including thread management (Additional details of the company or source have not been provided in the job description),
