You will collaborate with the frontend team to address performance and security concerns. Additionally, you will refactor legacy code and implement coding best practices. Developing a reliable process for quick deliveries will be crucial. As the backend advocate within the company, you will champion backend technologies. Your role will also involve resolving and minimizing technical debt, coordinating with clients, and overseeing backend sprints. Implementing agile practices and enhancing team visibility through clear reporting in JIRA/Asana will be part of your responsibilities. You should be stack agnostic, with appreciation for technologies such as Node.js, MongoDB/Elastic/Redis, and Python. Designing systems at scale while considering cost implications is essential. Willingness to learn new frameworks like Hapi.JS, Typescript, and Nest.JS is expected. A strong understanding of database concepts and hands-on experience with MongoDB and Redis is required. Familiarity with microservices, JWT, and IAM systems is advantageous. Experience with tools like Postman and Swagger is a plus. Knowledge of test-driven development (TDD), unit testing, and test code coverage concepts is beneficial. Proficiency in managing threads and operating systems is advantageous. Moreover, working knowledge of RabbitMQ and Kafka is appreciated, along with a deep understanding of JavaScript internals.,
