Node.js Developer

You are a skilled Node.js Developer with at least 1 year of experience sought to join the expanding development team. As a Node.js Developer, you will be responsible for developing backend services, integrating RESTful APIs, collaborating with front-end developers, working with databases like MongoDB and MySQL, and ensuring seamless application deployment on cloud platforms such as AWS and DigitalOcean. Your primary responsibilities will include developing, testing, and maintaining backend services using Node.js, creating and integrating RESTful APIs, collaborating with UI/UX teams, working with databases, debugging application issues, writing clean and scalable code, configuring and managing cloud deployments, and ensuring application security on cloud servers. Additionally, you will participate in daily stand-ups and project discussions to ensure effective communication within the team. To excel in this role, you should possess at least 1 year of hands-on experience in Node.js, a strong understanding of JavaScript (ES6+), familiarity with Express.js or similar frameworks, experience with databases, knowledge of RESTful API design, and proficiency in deploying and managing cloud infrastructure on AWS and DigitalOcean. Basic knowledge of server networking principles, proxies, reverse proxies, and troubleshooting skills are also essential. Good communication, teamwork, and basic version control knowledge (Git) are required for this position. Furthermore, familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, server security best practices, and experience with other cloud providers are considered bonus skills. The job type is full-time with a Monday to Friday schedule and a morning shift. The work location is in person.
