Description
As a Backend Developer at our company, you will play a crucial role in designing scalable APIs, data models, and services that are the backbone of our platform. Your responsibilities include architecting and building backend services with Nest.js and Express.js, designing and optimizing PostgreSQL schemas, implementing granular authentication and permission systems, collaborating with AI engineers, supporting containerization and cloud deployments, and building APIs and microservices for future scaling. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop and maintain robust REST APIs and backend modules using Nest.js and Express.js. - Design secure authentication and authorization workflows such as OAuth 2.0, JWT, and 2FA. - Ensure data integrity, security, and scalability across all services. - Collaborate with frontend and AI teams to integrate platform features. - Write clean, tested, and well-documented backend code. - Participate in code reviews and backend architecture discussions. - Support the migration from a modular monolith to microservices architecture. **Qualifications Required:** - Strong proficiency in Nest.js, Express.js, and TypeScript. - Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, and best practices in API development. - Familiarity with Docker, container-based development, and CI/CD pipelines. - Understanding of modular monolith and microservices architectures. - Solid knowledge of Git/GitHub workflows. - Experience working in fast-paced or startup environments. - Understanding of secure authentication, RBAC, and audit trail implementations. - Strong system design thinking and HLD capabilities to design scalable services and data flows. **Nice-to-Have Skills:** - Hands-on experience with AWS services like ECS, S3, and CloudWatch. - Exposure to event-driven architectures like Kafka and RabbitMQ. - Experience in integrating AI/ML services using FastAPI and Python APIs. - Familiarity with compliance systems, audit logs, or regulatory data flows. - Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
