Job Description

Job Title: Backend Developer (Node JS) Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu Experience: 4 to 7 years Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent Job Responsibilities: Develop and maintain server-side applications using Node.js and TypeScript . Design and implement RESTful APIs for seamless integration with frontend applications. Work with SQL databases , ensuring efficient data storage, retrieval, and optimization. Utilize ORM frameworks (such as TypeORM or Sequelize ) for database interactions. Optimize application performance and ensure high scalability . Implement security best practices to protect data and prevent vulnerabilities. Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions. Conduct code reviews , write unit and integration tests , and ensure code quality . Stay updated with the latest Node.js, TypeScript, and database technologies . Required Skills: Strong proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript . Hands-on experience with SQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.). Expertise in ORM frameworks like TypeORM, Sequelize, or Prisma . Experience with API development and microservices architecture. Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (Git, GitHub/GitLab). Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex issues. Strong communication and collaboration skills . Preferred Qualifications: Any Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering , or a related field.
