Role Overview We are looking for a Senior Node.js Developer with strong expertise in building scalable backend systems using Node.js and cloud-native architectures. You will be responsible for designing and implementing robust APIs, microservices, and serverless components that power our AI-enabled platforms. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain backend systems using Node.js, Express/Nest.js. Build scalable APIs and microservices following best practices and security standards. Work extensively with AWS services including Lambda, Aurora (MySQL/PostgreSQL), API Gateway, SQS, and CloudWatch. Integrate third-party APIs and internal services with high reliability and performance. Collaborate with product managers, frontend engineers, and DevOps for feature planning and deployment. Write unit/integration tests and support CI/CD pipelines. Optimize code for performance, scalability, and reliability. Document services, APIs, and internal tooling for team usage and onboarding. Mentor junior developers and participate in code reviews. Requirements 5+ years of backend development experience with Node.js . Strong understanding of RESTful APIs , microservices architecture, and asynchronous programming. Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda , Aurora (MySQL/PostgreSQL), API Gateway, and other serverless technologies. Proficiency with relational databases and writing optimized SQL queries. Experience with cloud monitoring, logging, and alerting tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Datadog). Familiar with CI/CD processes and containerization (Docker is a plus). Solid understanding of authentication protocols (OAuth2, JWT) and API security practices. Good communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams. Nice to Have Experience with NestJS or TypeScript. Exposure to event-driven architecture (e.g., SNS/SQS, Kafka). Familiarity with GraphQL APIs. Previous work in AI or data-driven platforms.
