Role Overview: As a NICU Staff Nurse, your primary responsibility will be to provide specialized nursing care to premature, low-birth-weight, and critically ill newborns in a fast-paced NICU environment. Your role will involve monitoring vitals, administering medications, assisting during procedures, and ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols. Additionally, you will support parents by providing education and updates on newborn care, while working closely with neonatologists and other healthcare professionals for comprehensive neonatal care. Key Responsibilities: - Provide specialized nursing care to premature, low-birth-weight, and critically ill neonates - Monitor vitals, oxygen saturation, ventilator settings, and incubator parameters - Administer medications, IV fluids, and feeds as per neonatologist instructions - Assist during neonatal procedures and emergencies - Maintain accurate documentation of patient condition and treatment plans - Ensure strict adherence to infection control and NICU safety protocols - Support parents by providing education and updates regarding newborn care - Coordinate with neonatologists and other healthcare professionals for comprehensive neonatal care Qualifications Required: - Strong knowledge of neonatal care & NICU equipment - Ability to work calmly under pressure - Excellent communication and patient-family interaction skills - Good clinical judgment and teamwork abilities - Compassionate, patient-focused care approach Please note that this is a full-time, permanent position with benefits including health insurance and provident fund. The work location is in person.
