News Anchor

About the Role:
We are launching a fast-paced YouTube news channel covering medical and engineering updates. We need a confident and expressive news anchor who can present news with clarity, proper expressions, and engaging deliveryfor both video and live formats. You’ll work closely with our research and production team to present breaking updates in an easy-to-understand and viewer-friendly way.

Responsibilities:

• Present daily news updates for our YouTube channel with professional delivery
• Read and present scripts prepared by our research team with expressions and gestures to make the content engaging
• Maintain correct pronunciation, tone, and pace during news delivery
• Work with videographers to ensure proper framing, lighting, and presentation style
• Adapt delivery style for YouTube audience engagement
• Participate in rehearsals and content review sessions to improve performance
• Occasionally interact with live audience during live news sessions or Q&A

Requirements:

• Clear speaking voice with excellent pronunciation in English and Hindi
• Confident on-camera presence with good expressions and natural body language
• Ability to read teleprompter smoothly
• Understanding of how to keep news engaging for YouTube viewers
• Basic knowledge of medical and engineering education topics (bonus)
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, daily news environment
• Punctual, disciplined, and comfortable with on-camera responsibility

Bonus Skills:

• Previous experience in news anchoring, hosting, or YouTube presentation
• Ability to write/rephrase scripts if needed
• Social media presence and ability to promote content
