• Assessment and Diagnosis:

  Conduct thorough physical assessments to evaluate patients' neurological conditions, identify impairments, and determine functional limitations.

• Treatment Planning:

  Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings, incorporating a variety of therapeutic techniques such as exercise therapy, manual therapy, functional training, and assistive devices.

• Treatment Implementation:

  Deliver physiotherapy interventions, monitor patient progress, and modify treatment plans as needed to optimize outcomes.

• Education and Training:

  Educate patients and their families about neurological conditions, treatment options, and home exercise programs.

• Collaboration:

  Work as part of a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with doctors, nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

• Documentation:

  Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including assessment findings, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries.

• Professional Development:

  Stay updated on the latest research, treatment techniques, and technologies in neurological physiotherapy through continuing education and professional development activities.

Qualifications:

• Master of Physiotherapy (MPT) degree with specialization in Neurology.
• Strong clinical skills in assessing and treating neurological conditions (e.g., stroke, spinal cord injury, Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis).
• Proficiency in using various therapeutic modalities and techniques.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
• Experience in a rehabilitation setting is often preferred.
