About the job: Key responsibilities: 1. 1. Design, configure, and maintain local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), and wireless networks 2. Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware components, including servers, routers, switches, and computers 3. Monitor network performance, identify and resolve issues, and implement improvements 4. Perform regular maintenance of network devices and ensure firmware and software updates are applied 5. Conduct network security measures, including firewall configuration and VPN management 6. Provide technical support to end-users and resolve hardware and networking issues in a timely manner 7. Document network configurations, hardware setups, and troubleshooting procedures 8. Collaborate with other IT team members to ensure smooth network operations 9. Participate in IT projects, including hardware and network upgrades Requirements: 1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field 2. 2-3 years of experience in networking and hardware engineering 3. Proficiency in network protocols, routing, and switching (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.) 4. Hands-on experience with network equipment (routers, switches, firewalls) and hardware components 5. Familiarity with network security protocols and best practices 6. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure 7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 8.
