Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Manual Testing:

Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test cases and test plans for network devices, protocols, and applications.
Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing manually.
Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking systems.
Collaborate with development teams to ensure timely resolution of issues.
Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and provide feedback.

Networking Expertise:

Deep understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs).
Experience with network monitoring tools and traffic analysis.
Ability to configure and troubleshoot network devices.
Knowledge of network security principles and best practices.

Python Scripting:

Develop and maintain Python scripts for network device configuration, automation of repetitive tasks, data parsing, and report generation.
Implement Python-based tools for test data generation or environment setup.
Contribute to the development of automated test frameworks using Python.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience in manual software testing, particularly with network-centric applications or devices.
Strong understanding of networking fundamentals and protocols.
Proficiency in Python programming for scripting and automation.
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
Familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla).
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
