Your responsibilities will include: - Demonstrating a deep understanding of networking protocols and technologies such as TCP/IP, Ethernet, STP, LACP, BGP, EVPN, ISIS, SR, MPLS, L3VPN, VxLAN, and more. - Collaborating with development teams to ensure alignment with customer expectations for deployment and user experience. - Applying creative problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. - Managing multiple tasks efficiently and meeting deadlines. - Showcasing strong documentation and presentation skills. To be successful in this role, you should possess: - A BS/MS in Computer Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent. - Proficiency in writing high-quality automated test cases using Python. - 8+ years of hands-on experience in testing networking protocols. - Expertise in using traffic generators for Data Path and Control Plane test cases. - Familiarity with automation frameworks like Robot framework and Jinja2 templating. - Knowledge of Test Harness tools and experience in Scale and Performance Testing. - Proficiency in using development infrastructure tools such as Jenkins, Git, and JIRA. - Familiarity with Docker Containers, VMs, Network merchant silicon chipsets, and Whitebox platforms. Bonus points if you have prior experience in a startup or venture-backed company.
