Job Description Network SME (L3 Only)

Role & Responsibilities

Provide
Level 3 (L3) network engineering and support
for enterprise environments • Own
critical incidents, escalations, RCA, and problem management
• Design, implement, and support
LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, Wireless, and Firewall
infrastructure • Configure and troubleshoot
Routing & Switching (BGP, OSPF, VLANs)
• Manage and support
Enterprise Firewalls – Palo Alto, Fortigate, Checkpoint
• Work on
SD-WAN technologies – Cisco Viptela / Velocloud
• Support
Cloud Networking on AWS & Azure
(VNet, VPC, hybrid connectivity) • Perform
change management, patching, upgrades, and maintenance
activities • Monitor network performance and ensure
high availability and reliability
• Create and maintain
technical documentation, SOPs, and RCA reports
• Work in
US rotational shifts
and handle
customer-facing responsibilities

Mandatory Requirements (Strictly L3)

7+ years of enterprise networking experience
•
Proven hands-on experience in an L3 / Senior Network Engineer role
• Strong expertise in
Routing & Switching (BGP, OSPF)
• Strong hands-on experience with
Firewalls (Palo Alto / Fortigate / Checkpoint)
•
SD-WAN experience (Viptela / Velocloud) – Mandatory
•
Cloud networking exposure – AWS and/or Azure
•
CCNA & CCNP – Mandatory
• Willingness to work in
US rotational shifts
