Network Security Engineers

As a Network and Security Engineer at Versa Networks, you will play a critical role in implementing, maintaining, and troubleshooting cutting-edge security solutions to ensure reliable and secure network access for our clients. **Key Responsibilities:** - Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs. - Implement and manage network security solutions such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, and SASE. - Utilize SD-WAN, SASE, and SSE technologies to provide secure and high-performance solutions. - Troubleshoot network and security issues to minimize downtime and disruptions. - Maintain documentation of diagrams, policies, and configurations. - Test and document the use cases effectively. **Qualifications:** - Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. - 1-3 years of experience in networking and security. - Knowledge of routing and switching technologies. - Familiarity with firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and security frameworks like Zero Trust. - Exposure to SASE, SSE, and SD-WAN solutions is advantageous. - Experience with network diagnostic tools such as Wireshark, Nagios, or SolarWinds. - Scripting skills in Python or Bash are beneficial. **Skills & Competencies:** - Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. - Excellent communication skills for interactions with technical and non-technical stakeholders. - High attention to detail and proactive security approach. - Openness to learning and adapting to emerging networking and security technologies.
