Network Modeler

As a member of Stantec ResourceNet Private India Ltd, your primary purpose in this role is to contribute to the ongoing growth of the company by providing technical expertise in specialist areas of wastewater network modelling. Your responsibilities will include participating in the implementation and delivery of cutting-edge programs and projects. You will support project managers and team leaders by offering technical expertise to ensure that project outcomes meet both client and Stantec expectations in terms of profit, schedule, technical, and quality standards. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct hydraulic modelling - Build and verify models - Develop optioneering and outline designs of hydraulic solutions - Perform Development Impact Assessments - Implement Pressure Optimization techniques - Prepare technical reports and drawings - Work with GIS databases - Handle and manage large datasets for analysis - Execute other duties as assigned by supervisor/management - Occasionally work off-hours for client coordination - Occasionally travel off-shore for training/on-site work Qualifications Required: - Masters degree in civil or environmental engineering - Understanding of hydraulic modelling, hydraulic design, solution modelling, DMA, pressure management, and network analysis - Proficiency in hydraulic modelling software such as InfoWorks WS Pro, InfoWater, Synergy, Bentley WaterGems, and DHI MIKE Urban+ - Knowledge of optimization tools and scripting languages like Python, SQL, Visual Basic, and advanced Excel - Ability in data manipulation with software like FME, POWERBI, and MS Access database packages - Familiarity with GIS packages such as Mapinfo, ArcGIS, and drawing support - Strong technical report writing skills - Competent in client service management, capable of building and maintaining positive client relationships - Skilled in analyzing project complexities and supporting the team lead in mitigating issues - Attention to detail and commitment to personal professional development - Baseline skills in business and communication for career growth - Flexible attitude towards work assignments and pro-active approach to execution and delivery Location: India | Pune Organization: Stantec IN Business Unit Employee Status: Regular Travel: No Schedule: Full time Job Posting: 16/09/2025 12:09:02 Req ID: 1000433,
