Role descriptions / Expectations from the Role

1Run the customer network IT infrastructure in a stable, secure, supported environment that minimizes technical and operational risk. Maintain high uptime and high degree of service availability for core services.

2Adhere to the ITIL process and procedure for managing the customer network with respective to the defined sites and services.

3Follow the change management policies, organization CERT measure plans and InfoSec standards.

4.Up-to-date documentations of network services including the Major incidents, RCAs, CMDB, Inventory, KEDBs and network diagrams

5.Flexible and ability to work and support team in 24x7 environment

6.Must take proactive lead and engage with customer on daily basis and provide help wherever required.

Technology Brief

• Good technical skills related to installation, configuration, and management of all network devices
• Configuration, monitoring and troubleshooting LAN routing and switching (particularly switches of 6500, 4500, 3800, 2900 & Nexus 9K series)
• Cisco Firepower (FTD) and ASA firewall configuration, management, and troubleshooting.
• Configure, manage and monitoring DHCP, RADIUS and ISE services.
• Configure and manage Cisco/Aruba wireless controllers
• Able to troubleshoot and support complex network issues related to LAN(Switching), WAN (ISP issues) and WLAN(Wireless)
• Perform disaster recovery (DR) tests for all network services and perform data backup.
• Assist in network services periodic audit/security assessment and support in documentation.
• Good knowledge in understanding and preparing HLD/LLD for new infrastructure, customize network, and proficient with MS Visio tool for preparing network architecture.
• Good Knowledge in Layer2 and Layer3 Switching technology like VLAN, VTP Server/Client, STP, RSTP, MSTP, Inter-Vlan routing, HSRP, VRRP, Stacking, Radius/ISE/MAB authentication.
