Network Engineer / Product Support Engineer

As a Product Support Engineer at our company, you will play a crucial role in providing advanced technical support to customers using our NextGen connectivity platform. Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting complex network issues, collaborating with internal and external teams, and ensuring customer satisfaction through timely resolutions. You will be expected to analyze and troubleshoot network-related problems, communicate effectively with customers, and escalate unresolved issues when necessary. Additionally, you will document troubleshooting steps, share knowledge with team members, and stay updated on industry trends and best practices in network engineering and technical support. To succeed in this role, you should have 2-5 years of experience in network engineering or technical support, with a focus on advanced troubleshooting. Strong foundational knowledge in TCP, ARP, Subnetting, MTU, TTL, and common Header information is required. Experience with network troubleshooting tools and protocols such as Wireshark and SNMP is preferred, along with industry certifications like CCNA or CCNP. Preferred qualifications include previous experience in a technical assistance center or customer support environment, strong routing and switching basics, and familiarity with VMWARE ESXi. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential for this role, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
