Job Description

As a Network Engineer with Cisco Nexus and Palo Alto expertise, your role will involve the following key responsibilities: - Responsible for the installation and activation of hardware, primarily focusing on Cisco Nexus data center switches, Palo Alto firewalls, and Opengear terminal servers. - Support all server installs requiring additional hardware, actively looking to decommission old network gear where possible, and migrate hosts to new hardware. - Provide operations support for network devices and ensure smooth functioning. - Collaborate with various teams to support their projects and installations effectively. - Maintain a typical work schedule of Monday to Thursday during daytime EST, with overnight maintenance starting on Thursday night at 11 pm EST. Your work on Fridays will depend on the duration of overnight maintenance. - Demonstrate independence and productivity in handling tasks efficiently. Qualifications Required: - 5-8 years of relevant experience in network engineering roles. - Proficiency in networking technologies, especially with Cisco Nexus and Palo Alto. - Strong understanding of the charter process and ability to retain information effectively.
