Job Title: Network Engineer (L2) Location: Mumbai Kanjurmarg Job Type: Full-Time ( Monday to Saturday 9 Hrs Shift ) Job Description: We are looking for a highly skilled Network Engineer (L2) with expertise in Cisco Routing, Switching, and Firewall technologies. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining network infrastructure. You will be responsible for providing technical support and performing tasks related to routing, switching, firewalls, and network monitoring. Key Responsibilities: Configure and troubleshoot Cisco Routing (Dynamic Protocols like BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, etc.) Manage Layer 2 3 Switching components, including physical and logical addressing, access layer configuration, MAC addresses, ARP, VLANs, Spanning Tree Protocol (STP), Trunking, etc. Work with SNMP, Syslog , and CLI/API-based configuration and monitoring tools, including NetFlow . Manage IP Addressing and ensure correct IP configurations across the network. Implement and maintain HSRP for high availability and redundancy in routing. Configure and maintain Firewall solutions, including Access Control Lists (ACLs), policies, NAT, QOS, and VPN (IPSec, SSL). Perform vulnerability closure and ensure firewall security is up to date. Conduct Firmware Upgradation for network devices. Troubleshoot and configure Firewalls for seamless network security. Required Skills and Qualifications: Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in Cisco Routing (Dynamic Protocols like BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) WITH 4 Years of experience. In-depth experience in Layer 2 3 Switching and network technologies such as VLANs, STP, ARP, and Trunking. Proficient in Network Monitoring using tools like SNMP, Syslog, NetFlow, and CLI/API. Knowledge of Firewall management, including ACLs, NAT, QOS, and VPN technologies (IPSec and SSL). Ability to perform Firmware Upgradation and manage device configurations. Strong troubleshooting skills in both Routing Switching and Firewall technologies . Good understanding of IP Addressing and HSRP for high availability solutions. Desired Skills: Cisco certification (CCNA, CCNP, etc.) is preferred. Experience with other network monitoring and management tools is a plus.
