Network Engineer-L2

As an experienced Network Engineer with expertise in Routing, Switching, and Cisco Meraki Wireless solutions, your role will involve configuring, deploying, and maintaining enterprise-grade networks with a strong focus on performance, security, Vendor Management, and high availability. Key Responsibilities: - Configure, manage, and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and Meraki wireless access points. - Design and implement network solutions meeting business requirements for performance, scalability, and security. - Monitor network performance and proactively resolve connectivity issues. - Manage LAN/WAN/VLAN configurations and ensure optimal routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, etc.). - Maintain and optimize the Cisco Meraki Dashboard for wireless management, monitoring, and troubleshooting. - Implement and maintain network security measures, including firewalls, ACLs, and VPNs. - Provide L2/L3 support for network-related incidents and service requests. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support IT projects and business initiatives. - Create and maintain accurate network documentation, diagrams, and SOPs. Required Skills & Qualifications: - Proven hands-on experience with network routing and switching technologies, particularly Cisco. - Strong experience with Cisco Meraki wireless solutions such as Access Points, Switches, and Security Appliances. - Solid understanding of routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP) and Layer 2 technologies (VLAN, STP, EtherChannel). - Knowledge of network security best practices including firewalls, VPNs, and ACLs. - Experience with network monitoring tools like SolarWinds and CISCO 100 Eye. - Familiarity with QoS, multicast, and high availability protocols like HSRP and VRRP. - Good understanding of IPv4/IPv6 addressing and subnetting. - Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills. - Excellent communication and documentation abilities. Preferred Qualifications: - Cisco CCNA / CCNP certification or equivalent knowledge level. - Experience with SD-WAN and cloud-managed networking. - Exposure to VoIP and network convergence solutions. - Knowledge of ITIL processes for incident, change, and problem management. Educational Requirements: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication, or related field. - Equivalent industry experience may be considered.,
