Our collaborative culture encourages innovation, empowering team members to contribute their ideas and expertise to cutting-edge projects. **Role Overview:** As a Network Engineer at Gadgeon, you will be responsible for configuring, deploying, maintaining, and troubleshooting client routing infrastructure and customer/carrier IPSec VPN tunnels. Your role will require a strong understanding of network architecture, particularly in supporting mission-critical cellular network connectivity and associated services. **Key Responsibilities:** - Diagnose and resolve network issues, ensuring seamless connectivity and performance. - Build and manage IPSec VPNs for customers, ensuring secure communication channels. - Develop and document standard operating procedures, including firewall/router configurations, backup processes, and disaster recovery plans. - Collaborate with global network, systems engineering, and software development teams to deploy and support new hosted products and services. - Configure and maintain regional network performance monitoring systems. - Implement security strategies and best practices to safeguard network infrastructure. - Provide shift coverage during US/CA hours as part of a 24/7 operations team. (6:30 PM to 3:30 AM IST and need to be flexible). - Plan and execute maintenance windows and participate in disaster recovery procedures. - Engage in network design, configuration, and implementation for new projects. - Upgrade network infrastructure to the latest stable firmware versions. - Provide remote support to field engineers and end users. **Required Technical Skills:** - 3+ years of hands-on experience in network routing, switching, and firewall management. - Expertise in networking protocols and technologies, including IPSec, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, MPLS, IPv6, VTI & GRE, PBR, NAT, VPDN, and L2TP. - Strong ability to learn and adapt to new technologies quickly. - Experience working both independently and within a global virtual team. - Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time management skills. - Hands-on experience with Cisco network support, administration, monitoring, and tuning. - CCNA certification is a plus. - Previous experience with cellular operators is an advantage. - Ability to work with minimal supervision while ensuring consistency and quality. - Strong team collaboration, knowledge sharing, and willingness to accept and provide feedback. **Preferred Skills:** - Familiarity with GSM/GPRS and 4G networks, including core network elements such as GGSN/PGW, HLR/HSS, and OCS. - Knowledge of Python and Ansible for network automation. - Experience on cloud platforms such as AWS and GCP. - Hands-on experience with Cisco FirePower Next-Gen Firewalls and FTD. **Qualification:** - Any Degree,
