Description
As a Network & Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for automating configurations and operations across Cisco networking platforms and Palo Alto firewalls/Panorama to ensure a secure and reliable enterprise network. Key Responsibilities: - Configure, support, and troubleshoot Cisco routers, switches, wireless, and core routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, STP, VLANs, VXLAN). - Manage Palo Alto firewalls including security policies, NAT, VPN, and threat services. - Administer Panorama for centralized firewall management and template/device-group automation. - Develop automation scripts using Python, Ansible, or REST/API workflows for Cisco and Palo Alto environments. - Implement automated configuration deployment, compliance checks, and change validation. - Utilize Git/GitHub/GitLab for version control and automation pipelines. - Monitor network performance and security, troubleshoot incidents, and support upgrades. Qualifications Required: - 5+ years of experience in network engineering and automation. - Hands-on experience with Cisco networking (IOS/IOS-XE/NX-OS). - Experience with Palo Alto NGFW and Panorama. - Proficiency in Python scripting, Ansible playbooks/roles, REST API, NETCONF, and RESTCONF. - Knowledge of TCP/IP, VPNs, VLANs, ACLs, routing, and firewalling. - Familiarity with network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, PRTG, and Panorama Insights.
