Job Description

As a Computer Science or related Engineering graduate or postgraduate with hands-on experience in network engineering focusing on automation, you will be responsible for various tasks related to network administration and troubleshooting. Your primary responsibilities will include proficiency in Linux/Unix system administration and troubleshooting, a strong understanding of networking fundamentals including protocols, architectures, and configurations, and experience in automation using tools like Ansible and Terraform. In addition, you will be expected to have scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or similar, familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipeline integration, knowledge of infrastructure as code and RESTful APIs, and experience with network monitoring and management tools. Effective documentation, communication, and collaboration skills will also be essential for this role. Preferred skills for this position include exposure to cloud networking platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, knowledge of container orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes, experience with SDN, NetConf/YANG, or other automation protocols, Agile development experience, awareness of network security best practices, and relevant certifications like CCNA/CCNP, RHCE, or other cloud credentials. Additionally, it would be beneficial to have experience with network orchestration platforms and familiarity with the telecom/media industry network.,
