Network Automation Engineer

As a Network Automation Engineer at Millennium, you will be part of the Network Automation Team responsible for creating innovative tools to enhance the organization's networks. Your role will involve collaborating with various departments to streamline processes, focus on complex tasks, and ensure efficiency and reliability of network systems. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with network engineers, tech support, Data Center Management, InfoSec, and other teams to develop new tools and automate workflows. - Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and processes to maintain a high-quality product platform. - Implement orchestration on top of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) automation. - Develop and maintain scalable internal APIs, CLIs, and packages. - Participate in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines. - Conduct code reviews, promote best practices within the team. - Optimize for asynchronous collaboration with the global team. - Interest in learning about designing, managing, and monitoring Networks. Qualifications: - Full understanding of the software development lifecycle. - Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and Golang. - Knowledge of using APIs including those provided by PaloAlto and F5, and configuration. - Familiarity with network-focused automation libraries like Scrapli, Netmiko, Nornir, etc. - Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) automation tools such as Ansible, SaltStack, and Terraform. - Hands-on experience with API development and integration. - Familiarity with container orchestration services. - Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to stakeholders, developers, and network engineers. - Strong knowledge of Unix/Linux. - Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. - Some experience with relational and non-relational databases. - Experience with monitoring/observability stack (Datadog, ELK, Splunk, Loki, Grafana).,
