Network Administrator/Manager

As a Network Consultant at our organization, located in Yeshwanthpur Industrial Area, Bengaluru, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, optimizing, and maintaining robust network infrastructure for both our company and our clients. Your responsibilities will include configuring and troubleshooting various network devices, monitoring network performance, collaborating with internal teams and clients to deliver customized solutions, and ensuring the security and scalability of our network systems. You will be expected to design, deploy, and manage scalable and secure network infrastructure while also configuring routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices. Monitoring network performance using tools like Nagios, PRTG, and SolarWinds will be essential, as well as implementing and maintaining routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and TCP/IP configurations. Additionally, you will manage and maintain DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and security systems including Palo Alto, Cisco, and Fortinet firewalls. Experience with cloud networking platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP is preferred. Providing technical guidance, documentation, and post-implementation support will also be part of your role. The ideal candidate for this position should possess hands-on experience in managing enterprise-level networks, with a solid understanding of Netscape, Firewood, subnetting, and key network protocols. Must-have skills include BGP, TCP/IP, CCNA/CCNP certification, network monitoring tools like Nagios, subnetting, and network design experience, as well as familiarity with Netscape and Firewood. Good-to-have skills include DNS, DHCP, VLANs, experience with cloud networking platforms, knowledge of Juniper, CompTIA Network+, network monitoring tools like PRTG and SolarWinds, and experience with Palo Alto, Cisco, and Fortinet firewalls. Qualifications required for this role include a Bachelor's degree in any specialization, along with 3-6 years of experience in network administration and design. This is a full-time, permanent position with day shift scheduling and in-person work location.
