Network Admin

We are seeking a highly skilled Network and Security Specialist with a strong foundation in network infrastructure, performance optimization, and security management. The candidate will be responsible for configuring, maintaining, and securing enterprise-level networks to ensure optimal uptime, reliability, and compliance. Roles and Responsibilities Configure and implement network devices such as Routers, L2 & L3 Switches, and routing protocols. Install, configure, and maintain UTM devices and other security appliances. Perform security assessments of network and web applications. Ensure network uptime, performance monitoring, and security. Manage and monitor routing and switching across MPLS, LL, wireless, and broadband links. Administer and maintain firewalls, multi-factor authentication, IPS, VPNs, and encryption technologies. Conduct regular security audits and ensure compliance with audit norms. Troubleshoot and upgrade network infrastructure, including routers and switches. Oversee Link Performance Management at data centers. Participate in Problem and Change Management processes for network operations. Work closely with bandwidth providers, external vendors, and IT service partners. Ensure SLA compliance and maintain strong documentation of network systems. Perform continuous technology watch and stay updated with emerging network solutions. Desired Skills/Background B.E./B.Tech/MCA/M.Sc. with a minimum of 5 years of experience in Networking and System Administration. CCNP or equivalent industry-recognized certifications. Proficiency in network management, high availability (HA), failover setups, and routing & switching. Hands-on experience in MPLS, Leased Lines (LL), and VPN setup. In-depth knowledge of Fortinet Next Gen Firewalls and other advanced security appliances. Familiarity with protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, HTTP, FTP, SSL/IPSec, VPN. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Experience in network virtualization and performance analysis. Solid understanding of security devices, threat management, and content filtering. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with cross-functional teams
