.Net Developer (Azure)

This role is for one of Weekday's clients based in Pune. We are seeking a skilled .NET Developer with at least 5 years of experience in Microsoft technologies and cloud-based development. The ideal candidate should possess strong programming expertise and a dedication to producing clean, scalable code. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust applications using the Microsoft technology stack which includes .NET, C#, SQL, and Azure. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, participate in planning sessions, and contribute to software architecture decisions. It is essential to write clean, testable, and well-documented code following SOLID principles and OOP best practices. Additionally, you will develop and consume RESTful APIs, implement cloud-native solutions using Azure services, and create technical documentation throughout the software development lifecycle. Experience in automation testing for APIs, web, mobile, middleware, and firmware applications is a bonus. Knowledge of tools such as Selenium, Appium, Cypress, RestAssured, Postman, SoapUI, CI/CD tools like Jenkins or Bamboo, and cloud-based testing platforms is advantageous. Familiarity with BDD/TDD approaches, test automation frameworks, and testing mobile platforms on Android and iOS is desirable. A strong understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases for validating and testing data-driven applications is also beneficial. Qualifications and skills required for this role include a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in software development, proficiency in .NET (C#), SQL, and Azure services, experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, a strong grasp of object-oriented programming, SOLID principles, and software design patterns, the ability to estimate tasks accurately, deliver high-quality code in a fast-paced environment, good communication skills, and a collaborative approach to working with teams and stakeholders.,
