Our mission is to provide hands-on, industry-relevant training and a vibrant creative environment for aspiring filmmakers. Job Description We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Business Development Manager to drive growth and expand our reach within the film education sector. The ideal candidate will be passionate about film and education, possess a strong understanding of market dynamics, and have a proven track record in identifying and cultivating new business opportunities. This role will be instrumental in forging strategic partnerships, increasing student enrollment, and enhancing the school's brand presence. Act as a passionate advocate and ambassador for [Your School Name], promoting its vision, values, and unique offerings Conduct in-depth market research to identify new trends, opportunities, and competitive landscapes within the film education and broader creative industries Analyze potential new markets, target audiences, and demographic shifts relevant to enrolment growth Identify potential gaps in our current offerings and propose new courses or programs to meet market demand Develop and nurture strategic partnerships with film production houses, studios, media companies, advertising agencies, educational institutions, industry associations, and cultural organizations Identify collaboration opportunities for joint ventures, workshops, masterclasses, internships, and placement programs Negotiate and finalize agreements that are mutually beneficial and align with the school's objectives Develop and execute strategies to increase student inquiries and enrolment across all programs. Collaborate with the marketing team to optimize lead generation campaigns, promotional activities, and recruitment events (e.g., open houses, workshops, seminars) Represent the school at industry events, film festivals, educational fairs, and conferences to attract prospective students and promote our programs Identify and engage with corporate clients for custom training programs, workshops, and corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives related to film education Develop and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to potential partners and clients Explore and secure sponsorship opportunities for school events, festivals, and specialized programs Identify grant opportunities and assist in the application process for funding relevant to film education Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders, industry professionals, and alumni Act as a primary point of contact for business development inquiries and initiatives Track and report on business development activities, pipeline status, and key performance indicators (KPIs) Provide regular reports and insights to the management team on market trends, competitive analysis, and partnership effectiveness Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Film Studies, Media Management, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus. Preferred Skills (Nice-to-Have): Experience with business development.
