Role Overview: We are looking for an Sales & Inventory Coordinator whose main responsibilities will be: Handling business inquiries received through platforms like IndiaMart and other channels. Assisting with inventory management and maintaining accurate stock records. The ideal candidate will have strong English communication skills, a good sense of organization, and prior experience in textiles or manufacturing. Key Responsibilities: Handle inquiries from IndiaMart and other platforms promptly and professionally. Respond to clients in clear, fluent English (spoken & written). Record inquiry details and maintain organized data for follow-ups. Assist in inventory management: monitor stock levels, update records, and coordinate with the warehouse. Follow instructions and ensure accurate execution of daily operational tasks. Support miscellaneous administrative duties as needed. Requirements: 1–3 years of professional experience (preferably in textiles, exports, or manufacturing). Strong English communication skills (spoken and written). Prior experience in handling B2B inquiries or client coordination. Good knowledge of MS Excel and other basic data management tools. Attention to detail and ability to multitask. Preferred: Experience with IndiaMart, TradeIndia, or similar B2B platforms. Familiarity with inventory management practices. We’ve shipped internationally once so far—now we’re hiring someone who will build exports from scratch , own clean dispatches, and stick around to see it through. Contract & commitment (read first) Fixed term: 24 months (conversion to permanent possible based on scale). Probation: 3 months; Notice: 60 days post-probation. Performance-linked variable + contract-completion bonus at 24 months. Early exit: forfeits completion bonus and unpaid incentives; full handover required. Culture rule: zero tolerance for toxic behavior— no-jerks policy . We value adults who communicate clearly, take ownership, and move fast without drama . What you’ll build (now → 6 months → 12 months) 0–3 months (Ramp): Stand up a lean export pipeline; sample with 5 qualified leads . Quote → PI → sampling → freight benchmarking (3 comparable quotes/lane). Document discipline: CI/PL/COO, BL/AWB, AD code/eBRC, basic RODTEP/Drawback. 3–6 months (Execute): Dispatch minimum 3 export orders end-to-end (on-time handover, clean docs). Crisp buyer comms (ETAs, options, weekly trackers) and tight follow-ups with Sales. 6–12 months (Scale): Shift into mostly end-to-end export management as volume grows; stretch toward ₹1 Cr realized export revenue by year-end. Occasionally support domestic order dispatches when needed. What you’ll own (day-to-day) End-to-end exports : quote → PI → CI/PL → booking → BL/AWB → eBRC close-out. Incoterms 2020 in practice (FOB/CIF/DDP) and LC/UCP 600 basics (zero-discrepancy mindset). HS classification & packing for trims/fabrics (width/content), CBM math , carton planning. Forwarders & freight : apples-to-apples quotes, transit vs cost, minimize detention/demurrage. Buyer communication : clean emails, proactive risk calls, weekly tracker updates. (Big plus, optional) : Prospect and manage export leads economically; build a small, converting pipeline. Must-haves 2–6 years hands-on export ops (textiles or adjacent). Trims/ribbons experience = big win . Evidence of lead nurturing (outreach → sample → PO) or clear appetite to learn fast. LC exposure (reading terms, preventing discrepancies) and clean documentation habits. Strong Excel (filters/pivots/XLOOKUP) and crisp, professional email writing. Self-starter, owner mindset : sets up trackers/SOPs, keeps stakeholders aligned, meets SLAs. Culture & setup (no surprises) Surat on-site. Non-negotiable.
