As a Repair and Maintenance Technician, your primary responsibilities will include repairing/fault finding and maintaining NDT inspection equipment. You will conduct thorough inspections of equipment once back from the site and ensure proper nomenclature for storage. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining NDT equipment stores, including inventory management, calibration records, and in/out records. To excel in this role, you must have a thorough knowledge of electronic components and be adept at fault finding processes. Understanding and interpreting schematic diagrams will be essential, along with proficiency in using testing tools such as a multimeter, oscilloscope, soldering, and de-soldering equipment. Familiarity with SMD components and basic computer knowledge are also required. As part of the team, you will read user/operational manuals to gain insights into equipment operation, learn the operation of NDT equipment, and provide equipment handling training to Site Engineers.
