Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an NDT Technician at PUNJAB HAMMERS PVT. LTD., located in Mandi Gobindgarh -Punjab, India. The NDT Technician will perform non-destructive testing using various methods, such as ultrasonic testing, Magnetic Particle Testing, DP Testing and other inspection techniques. Responsibilities include ensuring the quality of forged components, identifying surface or internal defects, maintaining accurate testing records, and adhering to quality control procedures. The role involves collaboration with different teams to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in non-destructive testing methods, including Ultrasonic Testing, DPT and MPT.
• Experience in Quality Control and Inspection processes
• Knowledge of identifying and assessing corrosion and material defects
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills for accurate reporting of results
• Experience in the steel or forging industry is Mandatory.
• Relevant certification in NDT techniques is preferred (NDT LEVEL II Mandatory)
• Ability to work independently as well as in team-oriented environments
