Engineer - Third Party, NDT O&I Offshore Blades

* Describe the Department

NDT Department is part of Manufacturing Launch and Execution under PE Blades o organization. This department is responsible for ensuring NDT Evaluation and Quality of Towers and Blades which is produced in various factories.

* Responsibilities

• • Zero Errors and Customer complaints.
  • Follow agreed NDT Process flow with zero deviation.• Create/Update NC for all deviations, track & close NC as per agreed SLA.• Train the Evaluators on new Blade model and get them certified.• Initiate QIP / SIP• Conduct Weekly Meetings with factory.• Participation in CIM Case Evaluation.• Active participation in Weekly meeting with Stake holders.• Performing TPR as per Process Flow.• Participate in Internal / External Audit.• Provide input for PII Revisions

* Qualifications

Bachelor's in Engineering in any of the following disciplines - Mechanical / Manufacturing / Production / Industrial/Electrical Or any other Equivalent engineering degree.

Experience:

4 to 8 years of working in... Heavy Engineering industries, Oil & Gas, Wind, Automobile, Aeronautical Industries and CADD Services / Consultancy. Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in NDT (UT and VT) for Bachelor's in EngineeringNDT UT Level 2 certified - ASNT / PCN / Equivalent

* Competencies

Required good knowledge on Blades manufacturing process
Ability to setup & use NDT (UT) equipment's and relevant analysis softwarePerform Hand & Machine UT ScanProficient in Microsoft Office for reporting day to day developmentsAbility to work under pressure & get things done with qualityAbility in being a good team player.Possess good analytical skills with methodological approachFluent in English (Oral & Written)
