Job Description

Skills and Qualification:

3+ years of work experience in Cassandra Database Administration
Strong in SQL and NOSQL concepts.
Shell scripting
Degree/Masters degree in the computer science.
Strong communication skills.

Job Responsibilities:

Expert knowledge of Cassandra architecture.
Database backup and recovery.
Hands-on experience in setting up Cassandra cluster (installing, configuring, upgrading, managing).
Cassandra database Administration on a Multi datacentre environment.
Strong understanding of complex inner workings of Cassandra, such as the Gossip Protocol, Hinted Hand offs, Read Repairs, Merkle Trees.
A deep understanding of Cassandra design principals, cluster connectivity, security and the factors that affect distributed system performance.
Responsible for database deployments, and monitor for capacity, performance and troubleshooting the issues.
Advanced knowledge of various troubleshooting tasks (ex. Latency Analysis, Thread state Analysis, etc.)
Hands-on experience with generative AI tools and certification
