As a Data Model Architect at our company, your primary responsibility will be to study and assess the current data models in our product portfolio, refining them as necessary. You will be tasked with keeping track of the current state of data models, database structures, data dictionaries, business/user requests, and prioritizing needs for new data entities. Collaboration with the core Development/Engineering team will be essential to ensure efficient data models are implemented. Your role will also involve researching and architecting database solutions, platforms, and engines, as well as establishing and maintaining a proper pipeline of data requirements. This includes data cleansing, normalization, model building, integrations, and periodic updates of master data. You will need to define and implement infrastructure requirements for data storage, retrieval, backup, and recovery, while supporting and ensuring good data-related practices within the organization. Additionally, you will assist Delivery Management in defining and executing data models and solutions, as well as contributing to the build-out of analytics solutions. To excel in this role, you should have hands-on experience with the responsibilities mentioned above and be proficient with various database engines and platforms. Experience with building Excel models and utilizing analytics engines like MS PowerBI, Thoughtspot, and Tableau is highly desirable. Furthermore, your ability to collaborate effectively with multiple development leads, teams, sales and marketing professionals, executives, and customers will be crucial. Exposure to emerging disciplines such as AI and machine learning, along with technical engineering or computer science academic qualifications, is preferred.
