Technical Sales Manager – Microbiology Products 📍 Location: Multiple (India-wide) Company: Nasmed Diagnostic Pvt Ltd At Nasmed Diagnostic , we are expanding into microbiology solutions with a new product line including pre-filled media plates and powdered media . To drive this vertical, we are seeking an experienced Technical Sales Manager who combines scientific expertise with commercial acumen to build strong relationships with diagnostic labs and pharmaceutical companies. Key Responsibilities Sales Development: Identify and pursue business opportunities for microbiology products across diagnostics and pharma sectors. Technical Expertise: Understand product applications and provide consultative sales support to customers’ microbiology divisions. Customer Engagement: Build and manage long-term relationships with key decision-makers in diagnostic labs, CROs, and pharmaceutical companies. Market Expansion: Develop go-to-market strategies, pricing models, and regional plans to maximize penetration and revenue. Training & Support: Educate customers and internal teams on product features, benefits, and applications. Market Intelligence: Monitor competitor activities, industry developments, and customer needs to refine sales strategies. Reporting: Prepare regular sales forecasts, reports, and performance updates for senior management. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology (mandatory). Master’s or PhD in Microbiology / Biotechnology / Life Sciences preferred. 5+ years of proven sales experience in microbiology products (media plates, reagents, consumables, or related solutions). Strong network within diagnostics and pharma microbiology divisions. Excellent communication, technical presentation, and negotiation skills.
