The duties of the ICN are primarily associated with ensuring that infection control measures are followed by nursing & housekeeping staff. Has overall responsibility for safe, comfortable and comprehensive nursing care of all the patients in the hospital. Responsible for the recruitment of nursing staff by conducting interviews along with the HR department as and when required. Maintain hospital census record with inputs from various departments on a 24-hour basis, and make it available for the Hospital Administrators as and when required.
