Mygo Consulting - Lead SAP ABAP Consultant

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of custom ABAP solutions with a focus on ABAP Proxy based integrations.
• Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable ABAP solutions.
• Develop and maintain ABAP RICEF components (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms).
• Implement SAP interfaces using Inbound/Outbound ABAP Proxies via SAP PI/PO or SAP CPI.
• Conduct code reviews, optimize performance, and ensure adherence to SAP best practices and naming
  

• Lead a team of ABAP developers, mentor junior members, and ensure timely and quality deliverables.
• Work closely with integration teams to build reliable data exchange processes across SAP and non-SAP systems.
• Develop and expose OData/REST/SOAP services for Fiori and third-party system integrations.
• Coordinate system upgrades, transports, and unit/integration testing cycles.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to custom developments and proxies.
  

Technical Skills Required

• Core ABAP Development : Reports (Classical/Interactive/ALV), BAPIs, BADIs, Enhancements, BDC, SmartForms, Adobe Forms.
• ABAP Proxy (Inbound/Outbound) : Design, implementation, and troubleshooting.
• Integration with SAP PI/PO or SAP CPI : Working knowledge of SOAP/XML/IDOC adapters.
• OData & SAP Gateway Service creation, testing, debugging.
• ALE/IDOC Configuration and custom development.
• Performance tuning and debugging skills.
• Object-Oriented ABAP (OOABAP) is a must.
• Exposure to S/4HANA environment and CDS views is a plus.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• SAP certification in ABAP or SAP Integration is an added advantage.
• Experience in S/4HANA projects or migration is desirable.
