Job Description

Position Summary: The Music Faculty member at will be responsible for educating students about music, including theory, instruments and various genres also for delivering high-quality instruction to students of various ages and skill levels. The faculty member will also play a crucial role in fostering a vibrant and supportive learning environment, preparing students for performances, competitions, and exams, and contributing to the overall growth and reputation of the academy. Key Responsibilities: Teaching: Provide individual and/or group lessons in Guitar/Keyboard/Violin/Drums Develop and implement lesson plans tailored to the needs and goals of each student aligning with the company policies and syllabus. Prepare students for recitals, exams, auditions, and competitions. Offer constructive feedback and strategies for improvement, helping students achieve their full potential. Curriculum Development: Collaborate with other faculty member and senior mentor to develop and refine the curriculum. Ensure that instructional materials and methods align with the academy’s standards and objectives. Stay current with pedagogical best practices and incorporate them into teaching. Student Performance and Development: Organize and participate in student recitals, masterclasses, and workshops. Mentor students on their musical journey, providing guidance on technique, repertoire, and performance. Assess and track student progress, maintaining accurate records of achievements and areas for improvement. Community Engagement: Promote the academy through participation in local, regional, and national music events. Build strong relationships with students, parents, and the local music community. Engage in outreach activities, such as school visits, open houses, and community performances. Professional Development: Pursue opportunities for continued professional growth, including attending workshops, conferences, and performances. Participate in faculty meetings, training sessions, and other professional development activities. Qualifications: Required: Proven experience in teaching [specific instrument/discipline]. Strong performance skills and a passion for teaching. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Trinity College of London Grade exam certification Preferred: Professional performance experience. Experience in preparing students for exams and competitions (e.g.,Trinity College of London, Rockschool etc) Ability to teach multiple instruments or disciplines.
