Music Trainer

As a Western Music Instruments and Vocal Trainer at Salim Merchants School of Musical Composition, your role will involve guiding students of all ages and skill levels in mastering musical techniques and enhancing their overall musical experience. You will be responsible for providing group instructions and training for a variety of Western musical instruments and vocal techniques. This includes customizing lessons based on students" skill levels, interests, and learning pace. Your expertise in a variety of Western instruments such as piano, guitar, etc., and strong vocal training abilities will be key in fostering creativity among students. Key Responsibilities: - Provide group instructions and training for a variety of Western musical instruments and vocal techniques. - Customize lessons based on students" skill levels, interests, and learning pace. - Design and implement a comprehensive music curriculum covering theory, performance, and technique for both instruments and vocals. - Prepare students for recitals, performances, and competitions, ensuring they are performance-ready and confident. - Provide constructive feedback and personalized coaching to students. - Maintain a positive, engaging, and structured learning environment to encourage creativity and discipline. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's or Masters (preferred) degree in Music, Performing Arts, Education, or a related field. - Minimum 6 months (preferred) of experience in teaching music, vocal techniques, or related subjects in schools/colleges. - Strong knowledge of vocal pedagogy, music theory, instruments, and performance techniques. - Experience in conducting music workshops, choir direction, or one-on-one coaching. - Excellent leadership skills and the ability to train and mentor educators. - Strong understanding of Western music theory, ear training, and sight-reading.
