Music Teacher

We are seeking a passionate and qualified Music Teacher to join our CBSE-affiliated school. The ideal candidate will have a deep knowledge of Indian and/or Western music (vocal and/or instrumental), the ability to engage students from Grades I to X/XII, and experience in preparing students for school events, competitions, and performances. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver structured music lessons in alignment with CBSE curriculum and school standards. Teach vocal and/or instrumental music to students across various grade levels. Prepare students for school events, assemblies, cultural programs, and inter-school competitions. Develop students’ appreciation for music and encourage participation in co-curricular activities. Maintain music room instruments and ensure proper usage by students. Collaborate with other faculty members for annual day, celebrations, and special performances. Assess and evaluate student progress through assignments, performances, and examinations. Promote discipline, responsibility, and creativity among students Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Music or equivalent qualification from a recognized university. B.Ed. is preferable (as per CBSE norms). Minimum 1–3 years of teaching experience in a school setup preferred. Proficiency in one or more musical instruments (keyboard, tabla, guitar, etc.) or vocal music. Familiarity with CBSE guidelines and integrated learning practices.
