Multi-Body Dynamics (MBD) Engineer

As an MBD Engineer / Senior Engineer specializing in Vehicle Simulations, your role will involve performing Multi-Body Dynamics (MBD) simulations for vehicle systems and subsystems with a special focus on ride & handling, durability, NVH, and driveline performance. You will be responsible for building, validating, and optimizing full vehicle models using industry-standard tools. Additionally, you will need to analyze simulation results, prepare technical reports, and provide design recommendations. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to support vehicle development programs will also be a key aspect of your responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: - Perform MBD simulations for vehicle systems and subsystems - Focus on ride & handling, durability, NVH, and driveline performance - Build, validate, and optimize full vehicle models using industry-standard tools - Analyze results, prepare technical reports, and provide design recommendations - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support vehicle development programs Qualifications Required: - Hands-on expertise in MSC Adams, Motion, Altair View, MotionSolve (or similar tools) - Strong understanding of vehicle dynamics, suspension kinematics, compliance, and ride & handling analysis - Experience in subsystem and full-vehicle MBD modeling - Familiarity with scripting (Python, MATLAB) for automation will be an added advantage In addition to the technical requirements, the ideal candidate for this position should possess a degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering (B.E. / B.Tech / M.E. / M.Tech). This role is based in Pune and requires full-time commitment at the client's location, a leading Global Engineering Services MNC.
