Job Description

Role & responsibilities Job Responsibilities MuleSoft Architect and Developer Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to analyze, understand, and translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable, and high-performance MuleSoft-based integration solutions while considering compatibility with existing .NET-based systems Architect and lead the implementation of API-led connectivity strategies, microservices, and event-driven solutions that seamlessly integrate MuleSoft with .NET applications and services. Design and develop reusable APIs, integration flows, and connectors using Mule 4 and DataWeave, aligning with best practices and organizational standards. Implement robust error handling, logging, and exception management frameworks to ensure resilient and reliable integrations. Deploy, manage, and monitor MuleSoft applications on Runtime Fabric , including cloud-native platforms like Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) . Utilize Flex Gateway for managing and securing APIs across hybrid environments. Apply API security policies such as OAuth, JWT, IP whitelisting, rate limiting, and encryption to safeguard integration endpoints. Perform unit testing, integration testing, and participate in quality assurance processes to ensure solutions meet performance and reliability standards. Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams including cloud engineers, DevOps, database administrators, and enterprise architects to design and deliver integrated solutions. Follow and contribute to DevOps pipelines using CI/CD tools to automate builds, testing, deployments, and monitoring of MuleSoft applications. Utilize containerization and orchestration tools ( Docker , Kubernetes ) for deployment, scalability, and operational efficiency. Monitor application performance, diagnose issues, and optimize runtime behavior using logging and monitoring tools. Maintain strong knowledge of integration design patterns , enterprise integration patterns (EIP) , and emerging technologies in the iPaaS and API management space. Support documentation of technical designs, integration architecture, and operational procedures to enable effective maintenance and knowledge sharing. Advocate for best practices in API lifecycle management, governance, versioning, and documentation through API Manager . Continuously evaluate and enhance integration processes, tools, and methodologies for efficiency, scalability, and reliability. Mentor development teams on MuleSoft design patterns, integration strategies, and .NET interoperability best practices. Stay updated with MuleSoft and Microsoft (.NET/Azure) ecosystems, providing recommendations on technology upgrades and modernization initiatives. Preferred candidate profile Mule 4 , DataWeave , API Manager , Flex Gateway .NET Framework/Core , C#, ASP.NET, WCF API security (OAuth2, JWT, IP filtering), policy enforcement SQL , stored procedures, and relational database integration Runtime Fabric , Docker , Kubernetes , AKS DevOps tools (Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD pipelines) Cloud integration and security (Azure Required) Strong understanding of networking, cloud security, and system performance optimization
