MS SQL/DBA Expert - PostgreSQL

As a Senior Engineer DBA at Pine Labs, you will play a crucial role in enriching the world through the power of digital commerce and financial services. With a minimum of 3 years of experience, you will be an expert in SQL Server and PostgreSQL, demonstrating a strong understanding of SQL scripting and the ability to write automation scripts for DBA tasks. Your responsibilities will include showcasing core DBA skills, conducting database migration and automation using scripts, implementing auto failover strategies, performing code reviews for DDL and DML scripts, and monitoring and troubleshooting. You will also be involved in Patroni HA/DR and Passive Replication configuration in PostgreSQL, while possessing strong knowledge in Linux and Windows OS. Your relevant work experience should demonstrate proficiency in providing production support for various database technologies, including MS SQL Server and PostgreSQL. You should have expertise in supporting High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for MSSQL Server and PostgreSQL Passive Replication and Patroni HA. Additionally, experience in working with multiple OS platforms, PostgreSQL tools, cloud computing environments like AWS and Azure, backup/recovery mechanisms, performance tuning, query optimization, monitoring tools, capacity planning, and troubleshooting database integrity and performance issues is essential.
