MS SQL Server Developer

Job Description

Key Responsibilities : Design, develop, and maintain high-performance SQL Server databases and queries. Optimize and tune database performance, including index management and query optimization. Collaborate with application developers to create database structures that meet performance and functional requirements. Develop stored procedures, functions, and triggers to support application development. Implement data transformations and migrations using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS). In-depth knowledge and a sound understanding of RDBMS systems, SQL, Business Intelligence, and data analytics. Proficiency in analytics and database querying tools Should have good understanding to create, optimize, use different parameters in SSRS reports. Ensure data integrity and security by implementing best practices and policies. Perform database monitoring, troubleshooting, and problem resolution. Document database designs, configurations, and policies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business processes and application development. Stay updated with the latest SQL Server features and technologies to improve database solutions. Qualifications : Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in MS SQL Server development. Strong proficiency in T-SQL and database programming. Experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), and SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS). Proven experience in performance tuning and query optimization. Knowledge of database design principles, including normalization and indexing strategies. Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes. Experience with database security and compliance standards. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
