Job Description

Operate MRI machines to capture detailed images of internal organs, tissues, and structures.
Prepare patients for MRI procedures, including explaining the process, screening for contraindications (e.g., metal implants), and positioning the patient correctly.
Select appropriate imaging sequences and protocols based on the radiologists instructions.
Monitor patients during scans and respond to any discomfort or complications.
Administer contrast agents when required and ensure proper documentation of usage.
Maintain MRI equipment, report technical issues, and ensure proper calibration.
Follow all safety protocols regarding magnetic fields and radiation (if applicable).
Maintain detailed and accurate patient records in the hospital’s system
Assist radiologists in reviewing scans and ensure images meet diagnostic standards.
Comply with hospital policies on infection control, patient confidentiality, and ethical practices.
