MRI Technician

As a MRI Technologist, your role will involve performing MRI imaging procedures on appropriate anatomical regions following the accepted standards of practice and protocols of the individual site Radiologist. Your key responsibilities will include: - Completing and signing Patient Screening forms - Explaining procedures to patients - Ensuring patient care, comfort, and safety during transport to and from the coach and throughout the exam - Engaging in continued education and participating in company-sponsored training programs to maintain technical competency - Administering contrast agents as per site-specific protocols with guidance and approval from the site Radiologist - Collaborating with facility healthcare personnel and adhering to facility policies and procedures - Providing images to the facility in the desired format - Conducting equipment quality checks and troubleshooting issues - Promptly calling for service and notifying relevant team members - Setting up and dismantling equipment in compliance with SMS and/or manufacturers guidelines - Maintaining cleanliness both inside and outside the mobile coach/facility - Performing administrative duties such as time reporting, billing, QA procedures, and following quality assurance guidelines while upholding patient confidentiality - Cooperating with facility healthcare professionals, adhering to facility policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with safety regulations - Performing any additional duties as necessary It is imperative that you hold current Permits to Practice in all states where services are rendered.
