Motion Graphics Designer

About the Role: We’re looking for a multi-skilled Motion Graphics Designer who can go beyond just animation. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in video production, on-set execution, and post-production editing. You’ll play a key role in shaping engaging, creator-led content especially for short-form learning formats. Key Responsibilities: Motion Graphics & Design Create high-quality motion graphics for short videos, explainers, promos, and social media. Animate text, illustrations, and characters in sync with audio/video narratives. Design visual elements (lower-thirds, transitions, infographics) aligned with our brand style. Production Support Collaborate with content & shoot teams on pre-production planning (storyboards, shot references). Be present during shoots (when needed) to ensure footage is captured keeping post needs in mind. Support with lighting, framing, or camera direction (basic level). Post-Production Edit raw footage into polished videos using Adobe Premiere Pro or similar tools. Sync audio, apply color correction, manage B-roll, SFX, and background music. Optimize content for multiple platforms (YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, etc.). Requirements Requirements: 2–5 years of experience in motion design + video editing/production Strong command over After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop & Illustrator Basic understanding of shooting (framing, lighting, lenses, etc.) Experience with short-form video content (bonus if it’s ed-tech, learning, or entertainment) Ability to handle projects end-to-end: concept design execution delivery Strong sense of timing, pacing, and storytelling Familiarity with digital platform formats (Reels, Shorts, LinkedIn, etc.) Bonus Points: Experience working with anchors/influencers/creators Comfortable using templates & plugins (e.g. Envato, Motion Bro) Sound design or VO recording skills
