As a talented Mocap Polishing Animator with a strong animation background and hands-on expertise in Autodesk Motion Builder, your role will involve enhancing mocap performances by fixing technical and visual issues, refining interactions with props and environments, and ensuring the final output meets artistic and project standards. You should be an animator by craft, understanding performance, body mechanics, and storytelling through motion to deliver high-quality, production-ready animation. **Key Responsibilities:** - Import, clean, and edit motion capture data within Motion Builder. - Apply motion data to rigs and ensure accurate character performance. - Work closely with the Sr. Leads and leads to maintain consistency in quality. - Adjust timing, poses, and body mechanics to enhance realism and performance. - Retarget animation data between various character rigs. - Troubleshoot animation and rig-related issues within Motion Builder. - Export animation clips for integration into game engines (Unreal, Unity, etc.) or 3D pipelines where applicable. - Ability to shift between various animation styles. - Experience with animation software, such as Motion Builder is a must. - Strong understanding of the motion capture pipeline and cleanup process. - Ability to enhance and edit existing motion capture data. - Excellent communication skills with a passion for Game.
