As an Analyst in Mortgage Bookkeeping and Accounting, you will be a vital part of our team dedicated to providing accounting support to a global investment management company. Your responsibilities will include ensuring the accurate and timely recording of journal entries in compliance with US accounting regulations and company policies using Accounting Software Applications. You will be tasked with daily reconciliations of cash movements across banking records, loan records, and the general ledger. Additionally, monthly reconciliations of key balance sheet accounts will be necessary to maintain alignment between various external records and the general ledger, such as Asset Management System, Bank Records, and Servicer Records. Embracing new general ledger accounting software will be essential, as you identify opportunities to automate, digitize, and enhance existing accounting processes. Furthermore, your role will involve supporting annual audit and quality review activities conducted by external auditors. The ideal candidate for this position will possess 1-2+ years of experience in US Mortgage accounting, with a strong familiarity with NetSuite online. Proficiency in Advanced Excel Skills, including Pivot Tables, vlookups, hlookups, macros, etc., is required. Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential, as you may be called upon to deliver presentations to senior management. While a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, MBA, CFA, or any other Post-Grad Degree is advantageous, the ability to work under pressure on time-sensitive and data-intensive recurring tasks remains crucial. Your strong attention to detail and organizational skills will be put to the test in this dynamic role. This position is based in Hi-Tech City, Hyderabad, with working hours from IST 5:30 pm to 2:30 am.
