Job Description - Academic Head Job Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Academic Head to lead the academic operations of our training institute. The Academic Head will be responsible for overseeing curriculum development, faculty management, training quality, and student success metrics. This leadership role requires strong academic vision, administrative skills, and the ability to manage cross-functional academic teams. Key Responsibilities: Academic Leadership: Design, implement, and continuously improve academic policies, curriculum, and teaching methodologies. Ensure the academic integrity and quality of all training programs. Collaborate with industry experts to align programs with current market trends and job requirements. Curriculum Development: Review and update course content regularly to keep it relevant and industry oriented. Develop new programs/courses based on market demand and technological advances. Faculty Management: Recruit, train, evaluate, and mentor academic staff and trainers. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback and development plans. Quality Assurance: Monitor and enhance the teaching-learning process through regular audits and feedback. Implement standardized assessment and evaluation systems. Student Success: Track and analyze student performance and implement interventions for improvement. Ensure academic support services such as mentoring, tutoring, and counseling are effectively managed. Operational Oversight: Coordinate with the administrative team to ensure smooth academic scheduling and resource allocation. Participate in budgeting and planning for academic resources and tools. Reporting & Compliance: Prepare academic performance reports for internal and external stakeholders. Ensure compliance with accrediting bodies, government norms, and institutional policies. Required Qualifications: Master's degree or higher in Education, Management, or relevant discipline (Ph.D. preferred). Minimum of 8–10 years of experience in academic administration, preferably in a training or higher education environment. Proven experience in curriculum development and faculty management. Strong understanding of adult learning principles and modern pedagogical practices.
